A Taste of Marietta: 30 Years of Flavor, Fun, and Community on April 27th, 2025
Spring in Marietta means one thing—Taste of Marietta is back! This year marks the 30th annual celebration of one of Cobb County’s most beloved festivals, and I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been invited to serve as a judge for this year’s event! As someone who works,...

Salon Posta: Where Good Hair Days Begin
Finding a new hair salon can feel like dating—you want the right vibe, the right energy, and, most importantly, someone who just gets you. When I moved back to Marietta, I wasn’t sure I’d find a salon that lived up to my high expectations. Then I walked into Salon Posta, and it felt like stepping into hair church.
Housed in a restored 1840s historic building right off Marietta Square, this space is nothing short of stunning. The massive windows flood the salon with natural light, making every appointment feel like a little retreat. And the team? They’re the kind of stylists who don’t just do hair—they elevate it. Whether you’re looking for a precision cut, balayage, extensions, or just a fresh blowout, they’ve got you covered.
I was lucky enough to sit in Sydney Bethay’s chair, and she worked her magic- because sometimes, feeling like your best self starts with looking the part.
If you’re in need of a refresh (or just want an excuse to hang out in one of the prettiest salons in town), give them a call at 770.415.2221. Trust me, your hair will thank you.

Let's Get Social
I first moved to Marietta, GA, at the age of nine, and it has held my heart ever since. Today, I am a proud Marietta resident along with my husband, and I still have a passion for helping people to discover, explore, and enjoy our warm and welcoming hometown. My background and professional work in marketing and real estate led me to create Merry in Marietta as a community hub to connect residents, prospective residents, and visitors with all the best that Marietta has to offer. I’m excited to show you around!
