Emma’s Flower Truck — Little Blue Truck, Big Blooms in Marietta
That cheerful rumble and little blue ’66 Chevy you’ve seen around? That's Emma’s Flower Truck. Owner Amelia grew up in this very truck—piled in the back with siblings on Halloween, grinding gears while learning to drive the neighborhood loop, grinning at that friendly...

Breaking News: Trader Joe’s is Finally Coming to Marietta Square!
For years, Marietta locals have been asking the same question: When are we getting a Trader Joe’s? Well, the wait is finally over—Trader Joe’s has officially announced plans to open a brand-new location right in the heart of Marietta Square.
The store is expected to feature all the Trader Joe’s classics—Two-Buck Chuck, cauliflower gnocchi, and an entire aisle dedicated to seasonal snacks that somehow disappear just when you get hooked. Even better? The store will embrace Marietta’s charm, with locally inspired products like “Glover Park Granola” and a special Peach Cobbler Ice Cream exclusive to this location.
Sounds too good to be true? That’s because it is. April Fools! Just a little playful prank to bring more readers to the blog. 🙂
While we may not be getting a Trader Joe’s on the Square anytime soon, Marietta has plenty of incredible local markets and specialty grocers that deserve just as much excitement.
One of my personal favorites, Nature’s Pick Market (https://naturespick.com/) offers a fantastic selection of fresh, organic, and locally sourced goods, making it a go-to spot for healthy grocery shopping without the long drive. And if you’re craving unique snacks, coffee, or baked goods, Marietta’s small businesses have you covered—without the need for a national chain.
So while we keep dreaming of a Trader Joe’s, let’s not forget to support the amazing local businesses we do have. What’s your favorite place to shop in Marietta?
