Let's Get Social
Unwine-d from the Day in Marietta Square
After a long day, there’s nothing better than unwinding with a glass of wine and catching up with friends. While Marietta Square is well known for a place to “grab a beer”, there are also some fantastic spots to enjoy a glass (or a flight) of wine. Whether you’re meeting up for a quick happy hour or settling in for a long, easy evening, here are some of my favorite places to grab a glass and relax:
Marietta Wine Market
Marietta Wine Market has such a cozy, welcoming vibe—it’s the kind of place where you can pop in, try a few wines, and feel right at home. They always have several bottles open, so you can sample different types without committing to a full glass (or bottle). Plus, it’s dog-friendly, which is always a bonus. They also sell snacks and cute gifts, so if you’re on your way to a party or need a last-minute hostess gift, they’ve got you covered.
Mac’s Raw Bar
If you love variety, Mac’s Raw Bar is a must. They offer curated flights—white, rosé, sparkling, and red—so you can try three flavors. I love grabbing a flight and pairing it with some oysters or a few small bites. It’s classy without being stuffy, and the staff is always helpful if you’re not sure what to try.
Silla Del Toro
Silla Del Toro is a Spanish tapas and wine spot that really knows how to impress. I was blown away when I discovered they had a white Malbec—I’ve never seen that before, and it was amazing! The staff here knows their stuff and will steer you toward something you’ll love. The tapas are the perfect complement to the wine, and the atmosphere is lively but still intimate enough for a real conversation.
Marietta Proper
Marietta Proper is one of the newer spots on the Square, and it has quickly become a favorite. It’s got a 1920s Gatsby vibe with deep greens and gold accents—super chic without trying too hard. Their wine and cocktail selection is thoughtful and well-curated, and the staff really knows their menu. The small patio is the perfect spot to people-watch as the sun sets. I’ve hosted a couple of birthday gatherings here, and it’s always a hit.

I first moved to Marietta, GA, at the age of nine, and it has held my heart ever since. Today, I am a proud Marietta resident along with my husband, and I still have a passion for helping people to discover, explore, and enjoy our warm and welcoming hometown. I’m excited to show you around!
